Announcements this week:

IN-PERSON WORSHIP -Moving slowly, cautiously and in compliance with New York State guidelines, we have opened up worship to a small number of in person participants. Each Sunday, we will be allowing 30 people, wearing masks, not singing and socially distanced from people who do not live in your household, to worship in the sanctuary. If more than 30 people show up, we will be providing worship in fellowship hall via projected live stream. This too will be done with the same guidelines as those who worship in the sanctuary. Seating will be first come first seated. We believe that for the time being most of our community will continue worshiping via the livestream that will be provided. We need to discourage people who are “at risk” in this current Covid climate to not attend in person. Being at risk means that you have an underlying health concerns or that you are over 60 years of age. No one will ask your age when you arrive at church, but we encourage everyone to use good judgment when thinking about whether or not you should attend worship in person. Every week a committee of Session is meeting to evaluate, and if need be, adjust our policy. So hopefully we will be able to open up more in compliance with New York State and in compliance with our prudent judgment as we move through the months ahead. If you have any questions feel free to call the church and ask.

DUTCHESS OUTREACH – As well as accepting monetary donations, Dutchess Outreach is now accepting food donations again, and is especially in need of rice, chili and hash this month as it has been unable to get these items at the regional food bank. So if you would like to bring food to the church, please drop off in the entry way.
